Annual Burns Supper
The Lodge enjoyed its annual Burns Supper which was well supported and enjoyed by those who attended. The evening was chaired by the RWM and the principal speak was Bro. John Freeland who proposed the Immortal Memory. The readings were given in excellent fashion by Bro. Gordon Mather P.M. A very humorous Toast to the Lassies was proposed by Mr. Andrew Murray and replied to is suitable fashion by Mrs. Margaret Mitchell M.S.P. In addition to the excellent speakers a full programme of music was provided by Jennifer Greenhill and Lynsey Hill accompanied by Kenny Mason and our piper Fraser Dallas was joined by Geoff Halyburton who delighted with some Burns songs on the fiddle.
