Passing of John Prentice P.M
It is with some considerable sadness that I inform you of the death of Brother John Prentice Past Master who passed away over the Easter weekend. Brother Prentice’s health had deteriorated significantly over recent years but he was greatly supported by brethren of the Lodge particularly Past Masters Jim Dorricott, Bill Mason and Jim Carruthers on their weekly trip to Garrion Bridge which brought John some comfort and pleasure in his later years.
Sadly this comes shortly after the death of John’s wife Cath who passed away only a couple of weeks ago.
Both will be fondly remembered by those who knew them and John will be particularly missed by the members of the Lodge for his considerable contribution to No. 7 over a great many years.
His passing will be recognised within the Lodge at the appropriate time.
